Fibromyalgia Syndrome

Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) is a condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances and mood disorder.

It is estimated that Fibromyalgia effects 3-6% of the world's population with 75-90% women (National Fibromyalgia Association, 2018). About 5 million Americans 18 yrs. and older suffer from this painful condition.

FMS is a rheumatic condition, one that causes joint and soft tissue pain. Unlike, an arthritic condition which is inflammatory based and can break down joints and its surrounding tissues.

FMS INDICATORS and FACTS

Widespread musculoskeletal pain for more than three months, presented on both right and left sides of the body and above and below the waist, with pain in at least 11 of 18 tender points.

FMS patients have lower serum tryptophan (a precursor molecule to the production of serotonin) than healthy populations.

FMS greatly dysregulates the amygdala and limbic system of the brain. The pain is indicated in higher than normal theta/beta brainwaves with lower alpha waves.

Our approach to Fibromyalgia is directed at a full brain and spinal intervention that concentrates deep within the amygdala and limbic centers where much of the dysregulation occurs. Combined with Photobiomodulation (PBM) or photonic stimulation, an Interactive Light Technology that helps to assist painful tissue points.

By working from the brain down the spinal column and nerves throughout the body we can help the body reorganize, relax to reduce or localize the pain. A once a week 30-minute treatment is usually all it takes for some clients.

The NeuroBalance method uses LENS technology to help the body to reset the pain centers of the brain from their frozen and stubborn brainwave patterns caused by FMS. The LENS signal can influence the natural processes of the body to take over for better communication in areas that may be impacted by FMS. We don’t treat FMS. We just assist the natural healing process to take place by influencing the current static bioelectrical environment.

Establishing better brainwave communication can mean less pain. We have helped others.…now let us help you!

*Disclaimer: NeuroBalance specializes exclusively in the use of LENS technology. LENS neurofeedback is a therapeutic modality only. It is NOT intended to be used to diagnose, treat or cure any specific disease or condition. LENS offers a safe, non-medicinal alternative approach for healing to occur. NeuroBalance assists the body to naturally manage the symptoms associated with many chronic conditions.
